Frank Avray Wilson [1914-2009] - we specialise in the paintings of Frank Avray Wilson -  he was one of the earliest UK abstract expressionist [or action] painters. The Redfern Gallery [London] held several one-man shows of his work and published a book in the early 1960s illustrating many of his paintings. Since his heyday in the 1950s/1960s his work has been unjustly neglected, but a lot more interest has been shown over the last few years. His work is included in many public collections worldwide.
