Robert Adams [1917-84] - We specialise in the work of this artist and usually have sculpture and prints for sale - we are also keen to buy work by Robert Adams, He is one of the UK's most important sculptors, who represented his country at the Venice Biennale in 1952 and 1962. Robert Adams held 14 one-man exhibitions at Gimpel Fils in London and New York and showed regularly in galleries throughout the world during his lifetime [especially in the USA]. Public collections holding Robert Adams work include Tate Gallery [London], MOMA [New York], Hirshhorn Museum [Washington D.C.] and the Arts Council. A book including a complete catalogue of Robert Adams sculpture was published in 1992 by Lund Humphries.
