Denis Bowen [1921 - 2006] - we want to buy paintings by Denis Bowen. He studied at the Royal College of Art from 1946 to 1950. As one of the earliest UK abstract expressionist painters, he founded the Free Painters Group and the New Vision Centre. His many one-man exhibitions include New Vision, Redfern and Belgrave Galleries. Public collections holding Denis Bowen work include the Tate Gallery, British Museum, V&A and Arts Council. A book on his life and work was published in 2002.
