Barbara Hepworth sculpture
Barbara Hepworth [1903-75] studied at the Royal College of Art and became one of the UK's best known sculptors, with an international reputation. Hepworth was part of the St. Ives group of artists together with one of her husbands, Ben Nicholson. A major retrospective exhibition of her work was held at the Tate Gallery in 1968. There are many books on the work of Barbara Hepworth and she is represented in most public collections around the world.
