Kenneth Armitage [1916-2002] - we often have work for sale by this artist, sculpture and drawings - we are also keen to buy work by Kenneth Armitage. 
He studied at the Slade School of Art and after the war became Head of Sculpture at the Bath Academy of Art, Corsham. He represented the UK at the Venice Biennale in 1952 and 1958 and has had several one-man exhibitions at Gimpel Fils and Marlborough Fine Art. There are currently 2 books on the work of Kenneth Armitage, the most recent published by Lund Humphries. Kenneth Armitage work is included in many public collections throughout the world including MOMA [NY] and Tate Gallery [London].
