Victor Pasmore [1908-98] is one of the UK's greatest painters. He was initially one of the Euston Road School of artists, before moving to abstraction in 1948. One-man exhibitions include many at Marlborough Fine Art [London]. A major retrospective show has been held at the Tate Gallery, whose collection includes many examples of his work. A catalogue raisonne was published in 1980. |
