                   We want to buy paintings by John Armstrong

John Armstrong [1893-1973] studied at St. Johns Wood School of Art. His many one-man exhibitions include Leicester Galleries, Royal Academy of Arts, etc. He was an official war artist during WW11. A major retrospective exhibition was held at the Royal Academy in 1975. He is included in many public collections including the Tate Gallery.
