Geoffrey Clarke, R.A. [b.1924] studied at the Royal College of Art and represented the UK at the Venice Biennale in 1952.  He has exhibited at Gimpel Fils, Redfern Gallery and the Fine Art Society. He was elected Royal Academician in 1976. A major retrospective show was held at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in 1994. Public collections include the Tate Gallery and Museum of Modern Art, New York.
