John Plumb [b.1927] studied at Byam and Central Schools of Art. An abstract painter from the early 1950s onwards, one-man exhibitions include Gallery One, AIA, New Vision. Marlborough Fine Art and Bohun Galleries. Many public collections hold his work, including the Tate Gallery. Arts Council, British Council and Contemporary Arts Society.
